Having problems with your QB 2013 for Windows? Close QuickBooks, right-click on the program icon and chose “run as administrator”, but don’t open your file. Then go to the help menu and chose to manually update QuickBooks, as it doesn’t seem to be automatically updating for everyone. This especially seems to be happening to folks who use add-ins, so you may have to disable them first.
