QuickBooks 2012 for Mac Helpful for 1099’s

After my crazy last few months, I just installed QuickBooks 2012 for Mac and tested it to see if it’s handling of 1099’s is better than the previous versions, which would not allow the user to check off that a vendor was eligible for a 1099 unless an address and tax id number were entered. I had complained to Intuit about this and happily, this has been remedied in the 2012 version. This will make it easier to track 1099 vendors during the year, as well as create 1099’s in January. Yup, it’s 1099 month… I would suggest strongly that those of you using previous versions of QuickBooks, upgrade to 2012.

I have emailed Intuit to see if the discounted price I can get through them will be better than the price you can get on Amazon and will let you know.
